Once a chili house at the Tecopa Hot Springs Resort,
the restaurant's being brought back to life by friends,
David Washum of C'Est Si Bon Cafe in nearby Shoshone, and
Executive Chef John Muccio, former Executive Chef of Las Vegas' Mama Jo's.
Together, they are planning on restoring it to create
Pastels, as a culinary destination in the Mohave Desert.
Pastels is the brainchild of David Washum, creator of C'Est Si Bon — an eclectic Internet Cafe in Shosone, California.
His culinary skills are outstanding. C'Est Si Bon is listed in Death Valley Tour Guides worldwide. Visitors from around
the globe enjoy the serene setting that equals the tranquility of surrounding landscape.

winning Executive Chef.

It draws you in, especially early in morning light and throughout the mesmerizing sunsets. Here you are engulfed by the
beauty of the desert landscape.
